IN THE PRESS

The Demolisher, which recently received its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival, lives up to its title in its brutal intensity. Featuring a terrifically visceral, near-silent performance by Ry Barrett.

THR STAFF,
THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER

Death Cycle has super deaths, irresistible AIP/Grindhouse vibe, great structure, fab soundtrack and stylish direction. Nice ending too,

perfect for the giallo-esque atmosphere aimed for.

ALAN JONES,
FILM CRITIC

Canadian filmmaker Gabriel Carrer takes the vigilante motif and turns it on its head. The story plays with our sympathies and jostles around genre conventions until our moral compass is a bleeding pulp.

OUR STORY

LATEFOX COLLECTIVE INC. is a Canadian narrative house specializing in dark, genre-defining stories. Established with the psychological thriller IN THE HOUSE OF FLIES featuring punk rock legend Henry Rollins, the studio has spent over a decade building an international reputation for stylized, high-concept cinema. Its productions are mainstays at premier global festivals, including Fantasia, Sitges, FrightFest UK, Grimmfest, and the Vancouver International Film Festival.

The Latefox portfolio is defined by visceral storytelling, including the award-winning vigilante thriller THE DEMOLISHER (Fantasia Silver Audience Award winner) and the breakout hit FOR THE SAKE OF VICIOUS.

Most recently, the giallo-slasher DEATH CYCLE has continued this legacy with high-profile screenings at FrightFest UK, Sitges, and Grimmfest, earning praise as:

"A high-octane horror ride... If you love bloody practical effects and grindhouse-style carnage, Death Cycle delivers." — Bloody Disgusting

In 2024, the studio expanded with Latefox Publishing, a natural extension of its world-building ethos. By channeling cinematic expertise into premium tabletop projects—including the dark, solo dungeon-crawling book YANDIR—Latefox Collective Inc. continues to deliver the best of genre narrative across multiple mediums.
